Playback engineers handle the technical backbone of live shows — managing stems, clicks, guide tracks, timecode, MIDI, and seamless integration between audio and visuals. My role is to ensure your performance is tight, polished, and stress-free. • Custom Show Programming – Ableton Live session design with click, stems, and guide tracks. • Rig Setup & Consulting – From budget-friendly rigs to pro-tour setups (PlayAudio1U, redundant systems, etc.). • Live Show Operation – Running playback during performances, rehearsals, and tours. • Timecode / MIDI Integration – Syncing lights, video, and visuals with your show. • Remote Support – Session prep, troubleshooting, and tech calls before show day. Playback Service Tiers + Add-Ons at your disposal 1. Basic Playback - $400 Best for small sets or simple shows. Includes: • Up to 2 songs • Clean stems + click + guide tracks • Basic tempo syncing • Simple Ableton session layout • Delivery via Google Drive/Dropbox • 1 revision included 2. Standard Playback — $750 Perfect for short sets, showcases, or mid-sized performances. Includes: • 4 to 8 songs • Stems cleanup + leveling • Tempo-mapping & warping • Transitions + show flow • Click/guide customization • Live routing consultation • 1 remote session for walkthrough • 2 revisions included 3. Premium Playback — $1,200+ • Unlimited songs • Complete Ableton show file • Advanced warping + arrangement • MIDI integration for lights/video if needed • Signal flow & rig design • Redundancy planning (if desired) • Rehearsal support (remote or in-person) • File prep for FOH / MD • 3 revisions included Final price depends on scope.
